Digital Ocean Forum 2024

Get ready for the Digital Ocean Forum (DOF) 2024, happening on June 13th, 2024, from 10:00 to 16:30 CET at the Palace of the Academies in Brussels. This significant event, open to the public, will introduce the prototype of the European Digital Twin of the Ocean (DTO), powered by EMODnet and Copernicus Marine Service via EDITO.

At the DOF 2024 Forum, we'll unveil the EU DTO's capabilities as a Commission public service, leveraging existing marine data service capability to drive applications and solutions for ocean resource management, climate change adaptation, and sustainable Blue Economy operations. Learn how the EU DTO contributes to the Green Deal and the UN Decade of Science for Sustainable Development.

Under the Belgian presidency of the Council of the EU, the event will unite experts from EMODnet, Copernicus Marine Service, policymakers, European projects, stakeholders, and concerned citizens.
