Discover the Must-Attend Event of the Year for Ocean Information Systems Enthusiasts!

The IMDIS cycle of conferences aims to provide an overview of existing information systems serving various users in ocean science. It also showcases progress in developing efficient infrastructures for managing large and diverse datasets, standards, interoperable information systems, as well as services and tools for education.

The Conference will feature presentations on different systems for online access to data, metadata, and products, communication standards, and adapted technology to ensure platform interoperability. Sessions will focus on infrastructures, technologies, and services for different users: environmental authorities, researchers, schools, universities, etc.

The next edition will be held in Bergen, Norway, from Monday, May 27th to Wednesday, May 29th, 2024, organized by the IMR (Institute of Marine Research), in collaboration with SeaDataNet AISBL, IFREMER, MARIS, MEDIN, NOC, INGV, IOC/IODE, BlueCloud 2026, and iMAGINE projects. The conference will span three full days.
