Third UN Ocean Conference (UNOC3)

After New York (2017) and Lisbon (2022), France and Costa Rica are co-hosting the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3) in Nice.

Ten years after COP21 and the Paris Agreement, UNOC3 will bring together UN member states, their heads of state and government, specialized agencies, civil society, the private sector, and international donors.

A Conference Focused on Action
UNOC3 aims to accelerate the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 14 (SDG 14) on marine conservation, with three key priorities driving the adoption of an ambitious agreement.
